If the Springfield, Ohio Cat-Eating Story is a Hoax, How Come Millions of People Believe It?
Americans are demanding answers to questions only JD Vance and Donald Trump have the courage to ask

Americans across the country are furious. They want answers. They want to know why nobody is doing anything about the Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio who are kidnapping and eating pets. Only JD Vance and Donald Trump have had the courage to shed light on the story while everyone else, from the mainstream media, all the way to the Republican governor of Ohio claims there’s no proof it’s happening. Which begs the question: if the story is such a fringe conspiracy theory, how come millions of people believe it?
Until last week’s presidential debate, nobody was concerned about Haitian immigrants eating pets. But then JD Vance brought up the story and Donald Trump repeated it at the presidential debate, ushering the story to the national forefront. They cited a now-deleted Facebook post shared by a Springfield resident saying that a neighbor's cat may have been kidnapped and eaten by a Haitian neighbor. While it turns out it may have actually been a friend of a friend of the neighbor’s daughter, that doesn’t make it any less concerning.
The mainstream media and Springfield officials seem intent on sweeping this story under the rug by insisting there’s no evidence that Haitians are kidnapping and eating pets. And sure, it’s possible the story is fabricated and is just being used to rile up anti-immigrant sentiment.
But let me ask you this: What’s more believable? That hundreds of journalists and government officials worked in coordination to cover up a Haitian cat-eating ring and did such a good job that only one lady in the entire 55,000 person city of Springfield, Ohio noticed it was happening? Or that one lady posted about Haitians eating cats on Facebook, and JD Vance amplified it into a national news story because it served his political agenda? Does that sound like something JD Vance would do? I rest my case.
Critics of Donald Trump say this “crackpot” story doesn’t merit any attention. But JD Vance and Donald Trump have broadcast this story to the entire nation, and now millions of Americans are outraged about what’s going on in Springfield. So if the story doesn’t merit being brought to people’s attention, how come millions of people are outraged by it? If JD Vance and Donald Trump hadn’t elevated it, there’s no way the mainstream media would have covered this story that is now clearly weighing on so many people’s minds. Which just goes to show how out of touch the mainstream media is with the stories people actually care about.
Seriously, has the mainstream media never heard of circular logic? The flawless method of reasoning named by the Greeks for how perfect and unbreakable the chain of thinking is, just like a circle? Their disdain for the principles of classical philosophical argument is yet another way they show their contempt of our proud Western heritage.
I, like many Americans, demand a full investigation into the situation in Springfield, Ohio. To quote Donald Rumsfeld, “Simply because you do not have evidence that something exists does not mean that you have evidence that it doesn't exist.” Even if it turns out it’s a completely made up story, we can’t know for sure unless we leave no stone unturned and spare no taxpayer expense.
And the fact that the Biden administration is refusing to launch a federal probe based on that single deleted Facebook post? Well, that speaks volumes. Clearly they’re hiding something.
